Welcome to your private A2 Achieve site for Archangel International. This space is designed to serve as the working hub for our grant development and funding strategy together. Rather than managing grant writing through scattered emails, attachments, and one-off requests for information, we will use this site to keep the process organized, intentional, and easy to follow.
Here, you will find the questionnaires, working documents, funding strategy materials, assignments, grant-development resources, and other information we build throughout the process. Some items will require input from you or your team, while others will be developed by A2 Achieve using the information you provide. As we move forward, this site will continue to grow into a central resource for AGI’s funding efforts.
The goal is not simply to find grants and submit applications. We are building the foundation AGI needs to pursue funding strategically and competitively. That means understanding the full organization, identifying the projects that are most fundable, documenting AGI’s impact, strengthening any areas that may create barriers with larger funders, and then matching the right opportunities to the right projects. This site will allow us to keep all of that work connected as we build AGI’s funding pipeline.

Our first step is information gathering.
The Grant Development Questionnaire is designed to give A2 Achieve a complete understanding of Archangel International, including its history, mission, leadership, programs, partnerships, financial structure, accomplishments, project priorities, and future goals.
Some of the questions are detailed, and that is intentional. Grant applications often ask for the same information in different ways, and the more we gather on the front end, the less time AGI will spend answering the same questions again and again later.
You do not need to have a perfect answer to every question. If something is unknown, still being developed, or does not currently exist, say so. Those answers are valuable too because they help us identify areas that may need to be strengthened as AGI grows.
Before we begin submitting applications, A2 Achieve will look at the information you provide through the eyes of a funder.
We will identify what AGI already has in place, what makes the organization especially compelling, which programs are most ready for outside investment, and where additional documentation or organizational infrastructure may make future applications stronger.
That could include things such as outcome data, project budgets, financial documentation, policies, partnership agreements, letters of support, impact stories, or clearer ways to measure results.
This is an important part of the process. The goal is not simply to submit the largest possible number of grants. The goal is to make sure AGI is positioned to compete well for the right funding.
A2 Achieve will use the information gathered through this process to create AGI’s Grant Writing Master File.
Think of this as the source document behind AGI’s future funding applications.
It will eventually contain approved organizational descriptions, program narratives, leadership information, impact statistics, project priorities, budgets, partnerships, funding needs, success stories, standard grant responses, and other information we are likely to use repeatedly.
Instead of beginning every grant application with a blank page, we will have a strong body of accurate, approved information ready to customize for each funder.
That allows us to spend more time making the application fit the funder and less time rebuilding AGI’s basic information.
Not every AGI project should be presented to every funder.
Part of our work will be identifying AGI’s highest-priority projects and defining them in ways that make sense to potential supporters.
For each priority project, we want to know:
This allows us to create clear, fundable opportunities instead of simply asking organizations to “support AGI.”
A $5,000 church opportunity may look very different from a $50,000 corporate request or a $250,000 foundation grant. Our job is to develop the projects so we can appropriately match each one with the funder most likely to support it.
Once we understand AGI’s priorities and grant readiness, A2 Achieve will begin building a targeted funding pipeline.
That may include:
We will evaluate opportunities based on fit, not simply because an application is available.
The strongest funding opportunities will be those where AGI’s mission, geography, population served, program, funding level, and demonstrated impact closely match what the funder already wants to support.
Each serious funding opportunity will be approached individually.
A2 Achieve will use the Grant Writing Master File as the foundation, but applications will be tailored to the priorities, language, goals, and requirements of the specific funder.
That may include full grant proposals, shorter grant applications, letters of inquiry, corporate requests, church partnership requests, sponsorship proposals, or other funding communications.
The goal is never to send the same generic proposal everywhere. We want each funder to clearly understand why AGI’s work fits what they care about and what their investment can accomplish.
The work we do through this process is designed to have value beyond a single grant cycle.
As AGI develops stronger project data, financial documentation, partnerships, impact measurements, policies, funding materials, and donor relationships, the organization becomes better positioned to pursue larger and more competitive opportunities.
Over time, the goal is to build a repeatable funding system, not a series of isolated grant applications.
That means AGI will have clearer funding priorities, stronger supporting documentation, a growing library of reusable information, an active prospect pipeline, and a better understanding of which funding sources are worth pursuing.
The process is intentionally structured:
We are not chasing every grant we can find.
We are building a funding strategy around what Archangel International does well, the communities it serves, the results it can demonstrate, and the opportunities where AGI has the strongest case for investment.
A2 Achieve uses shared documents to gather information from clients. For AGI specifically, A2 Achieve recommends that any board members who can should contribute to answering the questions. Do not worry about writing your answer "perfectly." That is my job. Just put pen to paper and type like we are having a conversation. I'll take care of the rest!
