Based on our conversation yesterday, I created a new strategy for you.
Below is a spreadsheet of all the environmental firms located in the Southeast US. Use the attached copy/paste email/letter to contact each one separately and attach the PDF of your resume included in this section.
Use the attached customized prompt I developed for you and copy/paste or attach it to your preferred AI bot. Also attach your working resume and the job description for the job you are applying for. I would use the highest intelligence mode on your AI bot if you can. Whatever AI spits out, please proofread it before submitting it for the job application. You may need to touch up the formatting.
Step 1: Copy and paste from this Word document directly into your LinkedIn.
Step 2: Once you complete Step 1, I'll set you up with posting content and a schedule.
All the documents you need to prep for this are linked for download below. Don't forget to print a copy of your resume and use one of those matte black paper clips. Then, when you email him the next day to thank him for the conversation, make sure to attach the PDF copy of the resume listed below with the file name Annabelle May - Resume 7.2026.
Below is the listing you provided for a job you found on Indeed. Use the resume provided below to complete the job application. You'll want to copy and paste from the Word document and upload the PDF like we talked about.
Click here to link to the Indeed job listing
I see that you have several other jobs listed in our shared document now. We'll tackle those after you complete this one, so we can discuss and make sure you are applying with your best foot forward.

Annabelle,
As we talked about, this season is not just about “finding a job.” It is about getting clear on what kind of work fits you best, strengthening your resume, building daily momentum, and using this transition time with intention.
You are not behind. You are in a building season.
The goal of this plan is to help us organize your next steps so the job search feels less overwhelming and more strategic. We are going to work through this in stages: reflection, career direction, resume development, job search research, and targeted applications.
I'm here anytime you need me along the way!

Welcome to your A2 Achieve workspace! This page will serve as your home base as we build your career strategy and begin your job search.
A few quick notes as we get going: As you complete items, I’ll move completed sections to the bottom of your page and add new ones to the top. We’ll use shared Google Docs so you can see updates and edits in real time. You’ll always be able to download final versions of your documents for your records
Don't forget to save this link to your page because it's not available on any public-facing menu on the broader A2 Achieve site. Let's get started!
Start by reading your A2 Achieve Career Assessment carefully. As you read, pay attention to the career paths that feel exciting, realistic, or worth exploring.
Your assessment is designed to help you think beyond one narrow job title. We are looking at several possible directions, including:
As you read, highlight or make notes on anything that feels especially true, interesting, or surprising.
Your goal: Begin identifying which career lanes feel most aligned with your strengths, energy, and long-term goals.
The job search can feel discouraging when the days do not have structure. The Daily Design Worksheet is meant to help you create small, manageable goals for each day.
Each weekday, choose three simple milestones. These do not need to be huge. They just need to keep you moving.
Examples:
The goal is not to fill your whole day with job searching. The goal is to create rhythm, confidence, and progress.
Your goal: Create a weekday and weekend rhythm that keeps you motivated while you are between roles.
When we talked, you naturally described your future by picturing where you were living and what your independence looked like. That is important.
For you, career goals are connected to life goals. Moving out of your parents’ house, living in your own apartment, choosing a city, building independence, and creating a life that feels like your own are all part of the bigger picture.
Use the Future Vision Worksheet to think through:
Think about your home, your city, your work, your confidence, your relationships, your finances, and your independence.
Your goal: Create a clearer picture of the life you are working toward, not just the job you are applying for.
Next, we need to strengthen your working resume. Your current resume already has a strong foundation, but we need to fill in a few gaps so we can make it more specific, more strategic, and more competitive.
Please review the resume gap questions and answer what you can. Bullet points are completely fine. You do not have to write perfect sentences.
Focus especially on:
If you are unsure about something, write “not sure.” If something does not apply, write “N/A.” Do not let one unanswered question stop you from completing the rest.
Your goal: Help me build a stronger resume that shows both your technical foundation and your leadership/consulting strengths.
As you search, add job links to our shared Google Doc. These do not have to be perfect matches. In fact, at this stage, it is helpful to collect a variety of roles so we can compare them.
Add jobs that interest you, even if you are not sure whether you are qualified.
Look for roles in these categories:
For each job link, add a quick note about why it caught your attention.
Examples:
Your goal: Build a shared list of possible opportunities so we can identify patterns and decide which roles deserve a targeted resume.
First, we are going to clarify what kind of role actually fits you. We are not just asking, “What jobs can I get?” We are asking, “What kind of work will help me grow, feel motivated, and build the life I’m picturing?”
Next, we will use your answers to strengthen your working resume. From there, we can create more targeted versions depending on the job.
You may eventually need more than one version, such as:
Then we will review the links you add to the Google Doc. We will look for patterns in the jobs that interest you, the qualifications employers want, and the keywords we need to include in your resume.
Once we identify strong-fit roles, we will tailor your resume and cover letter instead of sending the same generic version everywhere.
We will also look for small ways to build visibility, especially on LinkedIn. This may include posting occasionally, commenting thoughtfully, connecting with people in your target industries, and reaching out to alumni or professionals in cities that interest you.
You do not need to do everything perfectly. You just need to start.
This process is not about rushing into the first available job. It is about creating a thoughtful path toward the next version of your life — one that includes meaningful work, independence, confidence, and room to grow.

Once you complete your assignments, we'll meet again. We'll also start working on a LinkedIn refresh.

This is one of my favorite books for career changes. But truly, any of Mel's books would be relevant to this season of life for you. Her podcast is great as well!
1. Get Your Experience Out of Your Head and Onto Paper
If you already have a resume, great. Send it.
If not, that’s completely normal.
We’ll start with a student-friendly resume questionnaire designed to help you capture:
You don’t need perfect wording, just honest details. We’ll handle the structure and polish.
2. Kickoff Conversation
We’ll meet briefly (in person, Zoom, or phone) to talk through:
This is a low-pressure conversation designed to get clarity, not to test you.
3. Build Your Working Resume (Your Master Copy)
Using your questionnaire and our conversation, we’ll create your Working Resume.
This is not a one-page document.
It’s a master record of everything you’ve done so far:
Think of it as your career and college archive. This document will grow with you through high school, college, and beyond.
4. Student Review & Fill-In
You’ll review the Working Resume and:
This step matters. The resume should sound like you—not an adult speaking for you.
5. Lock in the Working Resume
Once your edits are complete, we’ll finalize your Working Resume and return it to you for your personal records.
You’ll keep this version and update it over time as you:
This becomes your long-term foundation.

This is collaborative, not one-and-done.
8. Final Delivery & How to Use It

We’ll also explain:
The Big Picture
This process isn’t just about creating a resume.
