HI OLIVIA!

WELCOME!

Olivia, welcome to your A2 Achieve career site. Everything here has been built to help you move from having a strong but broad early career background to presenting yourself intentionally for the opportunities you actually want. You have an unusual combination of Biomedical Sciences, chemistry, pharmacy, healthcare communication, forensic exposure, laboratory coursework, training and high volume customer service experience. Our work together has been about identifying the value in all of those pieces and then learning how to tell the right version of that story depending on the employer.

You do not have to decide today whether pharmaceutical and medical sales or forensic and laboratory science will become your permanent career path. Instead, we have built a system that allows you to pursue both professionally without sending employers a confusing, overly broad resume. Your Working Resume holds everything. Your targeted resumes tell specific stories. Your one page resumes help you network. Your AI targeting tools allow you to customize applications as new opportunities appear. The goal from here is to apply intentionally, watch where you gain traction and continue refining your direction as you learn more about each field.

YOUR COMPLETE RESUME SYSTEM

A2 ACHIEVE PROFESSIONAL GAP ANALYSIS

Your Professional Gap Analysis is the strategic starting point for everything else on this site. I reviewed your education, employment history, forensic experience, laboratory background, career interests, strengths and concerns and compared what you already have with what employers are likely to look for in the two career directions you are considering. The analysis identifies what is already stronger than you may realize, what needs to be positioned differently and where genuine gaps still exist.

Use this document as your career strategy guide, not as something you send to employers. Come back to it when you are evaluating jobs, deciding whether an opportunity is realistic or wondering what you should work on next. It explains why we are treating pharmaceutical and medical sales differently from forensic and laboratory positions and gives you a framework for deciding where to focus your time rather than collecting random certifications or applying indiscriminately.

A2 ACHIEVE WORKING RESUME

Your Working Resume is the most important long term career document we created. It is your master career file, and it is intentionally much longer and more detailed than a resume you would ever submit to an employer. It preserves everything we know about your education, chemistry and laboratory coursework, pharmacy experience, Disney experience, CSI internship, training, leadership, technology, accomplishments and transferable skills so that we never have to start from scratch when a new opportunity appears.

Do not send this document to an employer. No one needs to see the entire Working Resume except you. Instead, keep adding to it throughout your career. When you learn a new system, complete training, take on additional responsibility, solve a problem, earn recognition, work on a project or achieve a measurable result, add it here. Every future targeted resume should be created by pulling the most relevant material from this master document.

PHARMACEUTICAL AND MEDICAL SALES TARGETED RESUME

This resume tells your story specifically for pharmaceutical, medical sales and related client facing healthcare opportunities. Instead of allowing your current title of Pharmacy Technician to define you too narrowly, it emphasizes what is happening underneath that title: direct exposure to medications, patients, pharmacists, physician offices and healthcare professionals; pharmaceutical purchasing and inventory; medication pricing considerations; problem solving; training; relationship building and high volume service.

Your Disney Trainer experience also becomes important in this version because it demonstrates that you can communicate with many different people, work under pressure, adapt quickly and train others. Use this resume as the foundation when applying to entry level pharmaceutical sales, medical sales, healthcare sales, sales support or closely related roles. When you have a specific posting, use the job specific targeting prompt on this site to refine it even further before submitting.

FORENSIC SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY AND LABORATORY TARGETED RESUME

This version tells a completely different story. Here, your Biomedical Sciences degree, Chemistry minor, 3.62 GPA, cum laude distinction, scientific coursework and laboratory exposure move to the front. Your CSI internship becomes one of your most important experiences because it gives you legitimate exposure to evidence handling, latent fingerprint techniques, crime scene photography, forensic laboratories, confidential investigations and the work performed within forensic science environments.

Your pharmacy experience remains important, but for different reasons. On this resume it demonstrates accuracy, confidentiality, regulated work, controlled substance accountability and the ability to work carefully in an environment where mistakes matter. Use this version for forensic scientist trainee, forensic chemistry, forensic biology, toxicology, laboratory technician, laboratory analyst, entry level chemist and related scientific opportunities. We will continue to be very careful to distinguish what you observed or assisted with from independent forensic casework or professional laboratory employment.

GENERALIZED TARGETED RESUME

Your Generalized Targeted Resume bridges the space between your two primary career paths. Some jobs will interest you but may not be clearly pharmaceutical sales or forensic science. You may find opportunities in healthcare operations, scientific support, clinical services, laboratory support, customer facing science roles, healthcare organizations or other early career positions where several parts of your background matter at once.

Use this resume when the job is broader and the employer would benefit from seeing the combination of your science education, pharmacy experience, healthcare communication, training, accuracy, adaptability and customer relationship skills. It should still be customized for important applications, but it gives you a strong professional starting point when neither of the two specialty resumes quite fits.

GENERAL ONE PAGE RESUME

Your General One Page Resume is designed to give someone a quick, strong overview of who you are professionally. It captures your education, pharmacy experience, Disney training experience, forensic exposure and key technical skills without trying to include every detail from your longer resumes.

This is an excellent document for career fairs, networking events, introductions, alumni connections, referrals and situations where someone casually tells you, “Send me your resume.” It is also useful when you are not yet sure what type of position a contact may have in mind. For a formal application to a specific job, however, I generally want you using one of your fuller targeted resumes instead.

PHARMACEUTICAL AND MEDICAL SALES ONE PAGE RESUME

This one page version is your quick introduction to the pharmaceutical and medical sales world. It puts your Biomedical Sciences degree, pharmacy experience, medication knowledge, healthcare provider communication, purchasing, inventory, training and customer relationships front and center while keeping the document short enough for a recruiter or industry contact to scan very quickly.

Use this version when networking with pharmaceutical representatives, medical sales professionals, healthcare recruiters, alumni or anyone who may be able to connect you with an opportunity. It is particularly useful for introductions and referrals. Once you have an actual job posting, move from this networking version to the full targeted or job specific resume.

FORENSIC SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY AND LABORATORY ONE PAGE RESUME

This one page resume is your scientific networking version. It highlights your Biomedical Sciences degree, Chemistry minor, GPA, laboratory coursework and methods, CSI internship and regulated pharmacy experience in a condensed format designed to make your scientific background immediately visible.

Use this when connecting with forensic scientists, laboratory professionals, law enforcement contacts, scientific recruiters, University of South Alabama faculty, state agency contacts or anyone who may know of entry level laboratory opportunities. It is a strong “here is who I am” document, while the fuller forensic and laboratory resume should remain your primary document for formal applications.

JOB SPECIFIC TARGETED RESUME PROMPT INSTRUCTIONS

This document explains how to take the Working Resume we built and use it with a specific job posting to create a resume tailored directly to that opportunity. This is where your resume process becomes repeatable. Rather than asking AI to “make my resume better,” you will give it a reliable source of truth, your Working Resume, along with the exact job description and detailed instructions about what it may and may not change.

Read these instructions before you begin using the prompt. They explain which documents to upload, why you should start a fresh AI conversation for important applications, how to review the result and what you must verify before submitting anything. Most importantly, they reinforce that AI is allowed to position your experience but never invent experience you do not have.

A2 ACHIEVE JOB SPECIFIC TARGETED RESUME PROMPT

This is the tool you will use whenever you find a specific position that you really want. Upload your Working Resume, provide the entire job posting and then copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT or another AI tool. The prompt instructs the AI to analyze the employer's responsibilities, requirements and keywords and then select the strongest truthful evidence from your own background.

The prompt is deliberately detailed because I want it to protect the integrity of your resume. It specifically prevents AI from inventing sales quotas, territories, laboratory employment, forensic casework, certifications or metrics that do not exist. It also tells the AI how to handle your different career paths, how to prioritize your experience and how to create an ATS friendly final product. Used correctly, this allows you to create a genuinely customized resume for each serious application without rebuilding your resume from the beginning every time.

RESUME SUBMISSION TEMPLATE

The Resume Submission Template takes you through the next step after the resume itself is finished: actually getting it into the right person's hands. It includes email templates for formal applications, pharmaceutical and medical sales opportunities, forensic and laboratory opportunities, general resume submissions, referrals, recruiter outreach, LinkedIn contacts, application follow ups and simple situations where someone says, “Send me your resume.”

Do not treat these as scripts that must be copied word for word every time. Use them as starting points and personalize the position, company and reason you are interested. The final message should sound like you intentionally contacted that employer, not like the same email went to fifty companies. The document also includes guidance on which resume version to attach and how to name your files professionally.

HOW ALL OF THESE DOCUMENTS WORK TOGETHER

You now have a complete resume system rather than a single resume.

Your Gap Analysis tells you where you are going and what we need to watch. Your Working Resume stores everything. Your three longer Targeted Resumes give you strong starting points for pharmaceutical and medical sales, forensic and laboratory science and broader opportunities. Your three One Page Resumes allow you to network quickly and intentionally. Your Job Specific Resume Prompt allows you to customize your materials every time an important posting appears. And your Resume Submission Template helps you actually send those materials professionally.

You should never have to wonder, “Which resume do I use?” Start with the career direction of the opportunity, select the closest existing targeted resume and then, for any position you seriously want, use the job specific prompt with your Working Resume and the posting to create the final version.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

YOU GET TO DESIGN YOUR OWN FUTURE!

Now we move from building your tools to using them. Begin identifying opportunities in both of your primary career tracks and apply strategically rather than randomly. Pay attention to which positions generate recruiter responses and interviews, which requirements appear repeatedly and which type of work becomes more appealing as you talk to people who actually do these jobs.

Your first position does not have to determine the rest of your career. Right now, the goal is to get you into a role that challenges you, uses more of what you have already learned and gives you room to keep developing. You have the foundation. These documents are designed to make sure employers can finally see it.
